Book Contest Rules Change — “The Survivors Club”

March 6th, 2009 · 2 Comments

I may have been a bit too ambitious and asked a little too much for “The Survivors Club” book contest last month. It turns out that I have not received any entries thus far. I had requested that readers send in “your brief story or tip on how you ’survived’ or coped with an emergency or other serious situation that you think might helpful to others” in order to receive a copy of this terrific book. When I came up with that idea, I was a concerned it might be asking a little too much for this type of contest. And I may have been right. (Though we got some response for a previous book sweepstakes, that entry idea was more straightforward and easier.)

So, I am going to change the rules midstream to make it less difficult to get a book – THE FIRST FIVE PEOPLE who send me an email to jsolomon@incaseofemergencyblog.com will receive a free copy of “The Survivors Club”. All you have to do is put “The Survivors Club” in the Subject box. If you are one of the first five, Grand Central Publishing will send you a book.

UPDATE / 5:55PM(EST) — ONLY ONE BOOK LEFT!

UPDATE / 6:53PM(EST) — NO MORE BOOKS. CONTEST OVER. ANOTHER ONE IN NEXT COUPLE WEEKS
