A Citizen’s Eye View of Public Preparedness

The Blog’s First Birthday!

March 29th, 2009 · 3 Comments

A year ago, I started this blog and wrote my first post. It has been great fun and really fascinating to do. I have learned so much during the past year. I hope the blog has been interesting and enjoyable to read, and that it has had a constructive impact on readers and their families as well as on the policy discussion about public preparedness in Washington and around the country.

In Case of Emergency, Read This Blog

This has been an eventful year for the nation and for me personally. I appreciate all the good wishes I received regarding my illness and for everyone for sticking with me while the blog was on hiatus. I thank you for your continued interest, input and support. I look forward to the next year and beyond.

John…I wish you much success. You have done great work creating an emergency management aggregator (one blog that provides hundreds of links to vital emergency management material). I wish you even greater success in the future.
