Today, I will be on the The Brian Lehrer Show (820AM/93.9FM) between 10:40am-11:00am. I am appearing on the show every week in April to discuss emergency preparedness in a series titled “Are You Ready”. Last week, we introduced a Flickr ’Go-Bag project.

 

We are asking you to post the ’comfort item’ that you have (or plan to) put in your ‘go-bag’. A comfort item is a something that may not be vital but might make you feel better or help pass the time if, for example, you were evacuated to an emergency shelter during a hurricane. Below are my family’s comfort items.
