Above is a photo with my “Go-Bag” and ‘comfort items’ as we try to encourage submissions to our Flickr project. I am hoping we’ll get a lot of contributions this week which will prevent me from the ‘honor’ of having the least successful Flickr project in “Brian Lehrer Show” history.

By the way, each week I have been dressing in a different preparedness ‘uniform’. This week, I wore a shirt and cap (see photo above) from New York City’s Hurrex hurricane drill in 2006. In the drill, which tested the City’s response to a major storm, I played a ”victim”. In fact, my official role was “Unruly Victim #2″ and I was given a script to follow in order to test the ability of the responders to handle a difficult situation.
