Just a reminder to contribute to the Flickr photo project that WNYC’s ”Brian Lehrer Show” is conducting in conjunction with our “Are You Ready?” series this month.

We are asking listeners to post a picture of the ‘comfort items’ — things that are not essential but would make life a little better if you needed to evacuate — they have already (or intend to) pack in their ‘Go-Bags’. Below is a photo of the ’comfort items’ from my family’s ‘Go-Bags’.

As Brian pointed out in last week’s show, a survey indicated that half of New Yorkers have put together a ‘Go Bag’ which means there are four million ‘Go Bags’ in the City alone. So, tell us what you have (or will) put in as your comfort item.
