A Citizen’s Eye View of Public Preparedness

Stephenson Strategies Blog

As I build my blog, I will be adding other blogs and websites that I believe can be helpful to people as they prepare and inform themselves.

The first blog I’m highlighting is Stephensonstrategies.com. It is written by Boston-area consultant David Stephenson. One of his major focuses is technology and homeland security which he has dubbed Homeland Security 2.0.

I find David’s blog really fascinating, and it has been hugely helpful to me in my research and thinking. If you want to know about new uses of personal technology in homeland security and preparedness Stephensonstrategies.com is the place to look. This is an example of a blog that is in the forefront of the issue it covers.

What I find particularly exciting is that there seems to be a new application on the site every day. And though David is a tech expert, he writes in a way that is very accessible for a layperson like myself. The only drawback with the blog, especially for those readers outside of Red Sox Nation like myself, is the occasional paean to David’s home town nine.
