I know I used to joke that cops should have t-shirts that say "Thanks for Nothing" because nothing happened (a good thing). This just seems a great avenue to say thanks. My first one went out to a Chief of Police I worked under, and who I still consider one of the best leaders I have ever met- Chief Robert White of the Louisville Metro PD. As someone who spent many years working in law enforcement, I think this is a great idea, and a wonderful initiative. Unfortunately, more cops are being killed in the line of duty this year over 40% more than last. They put their lives on the line every single day they put on their uniform. I think my friend Mike Ellis has started something and it's a wonderful thing. Thank you both.
