We should encourage the public to take charge of their life and "be prepared". Before an emergency, get trained and be prepared. The public can hrlp save themselves, the community and be able to react in a positive manner. They should realize that the emergency may be at the office, shopping mall, diner, school, home, etc... The public should go to Emgergency websites, or American Red Cross, Community Disaster organizations, Government Education Programs, something..."get prepared and get involved. There's a lot offered, take advantage of it and get prepared. They'll be glad they did :) The public should know that they are not alone and there is much they can do.
