This is a great person to have met. Great work getting her on video.

My company is a coalition member of the National Preparedness Month initiative. We host a series of events for our employees throughout the month at all of our locations (in the U.S. and outside!).

I feel strongly that the Ready.gov home page site needs some serious attention if it's going to convey a serious message. It only has 4, yes 4 links on the home page. Don't blink, because if you try to find info on National Preparedness Month, you might miss it. If you do, you either have to wait for the flashing animation to scroll back to it, or you have to notice those little teeny numbers that sort of imply that you can click on them to scroll through the items yourself. Do they really think that anyone in the general public would have the patience when they use the site? Idea ... scrap the animation. Place static text on the site to the many, many programs they have.
